Our house is situated in Reith im Alpbachtal, a picturesque village in the heart of Tirol. The region is renowned for its unspoilt nature, traditional architecture, and diverse recreational opportunities, both in summer and winter.
In winter, Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, with its 114 km of pistes, is just a 10-minute drive away. Reith im Alpbachtal is part of this ski area and is perfect for beginners, children, and families, boasting its own ski school and lying just 1 kilometre from Haus Casimir.
In the summer, you can enjoy cycling and walking to your heart’s content. And the cable cars will take you up to the higher walking trails that wind through the mountains, offering beautiful panoramic views. There’s plenty for the children to discover too, with play areas both in the valley and in the mountains, topped off with the toboggan run in Alpbach.
In the surrounding area, you can hike through various gorges, the Zillertal valley is just around the corner, and you can reach Lake Achensee within 15 minutes.
